Abstract

The process of collecting School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds at the Banggai Islands District Education and Culture Office for local schools has recently become quite complicated, because the budgeting and accountability mechanisms must be clearer and more transparent. This researcher aims to describe (1) the planning of BOS funding activities for each school, (2) the implementation and realization of BOS funding activities, (3) the accountability for BOS funds in each school in the Banggai Islands Regency. This study uses quantitative research with a direct approach to spaciousness. Data collection techniques through interviews and observations. Data analysis techniques were carried out using several stages, namely data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and data presentation. The results of the study concluded (1) the Head of Service for each school was involved in the planning process (2) the designed system could be used and assisted the performance of each school so that the handling of BOS funds at the Service would be easier and more efficient.
